Amazing

As I sit her and look at my already-ever-expanding-waste line, I was reminded of a time about 5 years ago when we thought we would never be able to have children. It was probably one of the lowest times in my life. But yet, God must have a great and wonderful sense of humor, as he has blessed us with two amazing children and another on the way. Parenthood has been a journey that has taken us all over the place, emotionally, physically, and mentally (and then some). What a wonderful and interesting journey it has been.
I was looking back over some of the earlier blogs on this site, and I cannot believe we have been blogging here for 2 1/2 years. It's kinda funny to go back and read some of the older posts. Some things I had forgotten, some memories came flooding back, but most were ingrained in my mind. It was like a tiny little movie camera was replaying them for me.
We still have a long way to go on this parenting journey, and maybe I am just waxing philosophical because I am pregnant, but I am soooo looking forward to the rest of this interesting journey, and adding another personality to the mix.

Easter

Ok here are the Easter pics I promised. See I can actaully get things posted in a reasonable time frame. LOL
Anyway, here we are with my parents coloring eggs. The kids are still not sure about the whole coloring eggs thing. The get bored with it pretty quickly... but my mom and I had fun. Heh

Here the kids are Easter morning, all dressed up. I love the star glasses, it just adds so much to the ensemble.
So after Church and after all the good food we had, the kids were ready for some hunting. They had fun finding easter eggs with their cousin. We had a great time for Family and lots and lots of food. Hope you all had a great Easter too. Everyone take care and check back soon. Thanks!

Ups and Downs

Ok, so I know in my last blog I said I would be posting the next week, and here it is a month later and I am just now getting around to posting. I have no excuse...
Well OK maybe one... or two...
The first one being that my daughter turned up sick the weekend of my cousins wedding, so we actually never made it.
The second excuse is that since my last post we have found out that I am pregnant. So on top of dealing with the normal, everyday running of a household, with two preschoolers, I am now dealing with nausea, fatigue, and all the other symptoms that come with early pregnancy.
So.... that is why I have not posted in the last few weeks.
So now you know. :)
Amazingly though, we have managed to stay busy, and get in a few good pics of the kids. I am trying to upload the Easter photos, now and will hopefully have a few posted in the next few days.
Anyway, I know this is not much, but I will try and take some time for a longer post here soon. I just wanted everyone to know I had not forgotten about them.
